Dr. Joshua is a Medical doctor and Clinical Researcher with over 20 years of expérience in Comprehensive Treatment, Prevention, Care, and Support Programs in the field of Tuberculosis(TB), HIV/AIDS, Sickle Cell Disease, Diabetes Mellitus among others, having worked in various capacities at the National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development Clinic since 1996.

She pioneered and coordinated Clinical Research and Treatment activities conducting Clinical Trials of phytomedicines for the management of HIV and received the prestigious NIH Fogarty AITRP Fellowship Award for Post-Doctoral training in HIV Vaccine Development and Comprehensive Prevention, Care, Treatment and Support at the Institute of Human Virology (IHV), University of Maryland School of Medicine; Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Evelyn Jordan Infectious Disease Center; Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Dr. Joshua was a co-winner of a World AIDS Foundation (WAF) SEED Grant for HIV Vaccine Research in 1998.
